The San Miguel Pale Pilsen is a Filipino pale lager that is brewed by the San Miguel Brewery. San Miguel Beer refers to this beer (a subsidiary of San Miguel Corporation). It was first brewed in 1890 at what is now known as the San Miguel Brewery and was renamed the San Miguel Corporation in 1964. Today, San Miguel Beer is the most popular brand of beer in both the Philippines and Hong Kong. In Chinese markets, it is often referred as as. In 1946, San Miguel Brewery was the first to distribute San Miguel Beer across Spain. In 1953, San Miguel Brewery separated the Spanish rights into their own independent company, which is currently known as the Mahou-San Miguel Group. This transaction took place in the United States.
In 1953, the San Miguel Brewery entered the Spanish market and established the firm that would one day become San Miguel Spain. This move was part of the corporation's strategy to expand its operations internationally. La Segarra is the name of a firm that has been in business since 1946 and is involved in the manufacturing of malt that is used for medical reasons. At the beginning of the 1950s, the company's key san miguel pale pilsen Enrique Suárez Rezona, Ramón Vidal, and Jaime Muiz got in touch with Andrés Soriano, who was the president of San Miguel Brewery at the time, to inquire about the possibility of their group producing beer under the San Miguel name in Spain. The "Manila Agreement" was signed by San Miguel Brewery, Inc. in 1953, with the intention of establishing a new brewery in Spain under the name La Segarra, S.A. San Miguel was first introduced to the African continent in 1965, and by 1967, the brand had made its way to other major cities in Europe, including London, Paris, and Berlin. It was in 1970 that they purchased the Spanish-Dutch beer brand Gulder together with the facility that it was located in Burgos. The combined production capacity of the three facilities was 600,000 hl, which allowed them to achieve a share of 7% of the national market.
